Each month we focus on a dog we have assessed at Hillcrest Sanctuary, providing all the details on their wonderful personalities, needs and wants.

August BLAZE  💙💙💙

Our beautiful, brave boy has come home to the Hillcrest sanctuary. He has been discharged from the vets following an amputation. Last Hope's Blaze has lost a lot of weight but is walking well on his three legs. He is taking antibiotics and pain relief. We are quietly confident that under the loving care of our staff and volunteers he will recover well and will soon be ready for his forever home. Welcome home lovely Blaze ❤❤❤

Super STAR! A 10 year old amazing girl who doesn't act her age. Loves to cuddle up to her kennel mat Jack and mooch about on Coopers field. Needs a forever home soon... winter is coming!

Marvellous Murphy is having a duvet day 💙

Murphy is our 7 year old sweet heart! He does like his cuddly teddy and a bed

but won't hassle you for attention. He is very good on a lead and likes other dogs!

Finally Murphy is very amenable and is partial to a sausage. If you want to see more

May 2018 our focus is:

Flint is a very loving boy who wants nothing more than to stand by you and nuzzle into you once he gets to know you.

After some initial excitement he settles well into his lead walks, enjoys a play in the paddock and has always been good with his kennel mates. We have never had any concerns with him around Valley our resident small fluffy dog although we will always emphasise that great diligence needs to be taken around any small animal.

April 2018 is here the spring time is out and this time we are looking at our beautiful best friends Rhoda and Leeroy. Both young energetic and intelligent! Love to play and would suit a home with other dogs. Unless you would like to adopt both!! Take a look at their profiles here: Adopt Me
