Each month we focus on a dog we have assessed at Hillcrest Sanctuary, providing all the details on their wonderful personalities, needs and wants.
January 2019 – Polly
Pretty Polly is a delightful 5 year old black beauty. Polly is a sweet friendly affectionate girl who loves company. She loves her runs on the field and walks well on the lead. Polly is clean in her kennel and would be better suited with another dog for reassurance.
Polly is ready for her forever home.
December – It’s Christmas, we focus on all dogs this month, so check out our Adoption page!
Ant & Dec – Two adorable and dashing brothers are now ready for their forever home.
These two cheeky chaps are full of character and have always lived together. Ant loves to take care of his brother and they complement each other, Dec the less confident one sometimes looks up to his brother for reassurance.
They are great on the lead and love to zoom around the field, showing their brotherly love for each other. The delightful duo would make a family home complete
Betty is a young beautiful bouncy bundle of fun. With her white face and big brown eyes, Betty gives so much love to everyone she meets.
Betty is playful, loves her toys and zooms across the field after her ball. She is learning to walk on her lead and has taught herself to sit for a treat.
Betty is looking for an active home and for more information and how to adopt
Thor has so much character and high energy, he is super friendly and adores people. He is a handsome boy who loves to be out and about, run after his ball and play with his toys.
Everyday is a school day with Thor, he is eager to learn when he is on his walks and enjoys making new friends with the other Greyhounds but he would love to make a forever friend with someone to share his energy and affection. He is such an adventurous and a brave boy who is looking for that forever home.

August BLAZE 💙💙💙
Our beautiful, brave boy has come home to the Hillcrest sanctuary. He has been discharged from the vets following an amputation. Last Hope’s Blaze has lost a lot of weight but is walking well on his three legs. He is taking antibiotics and pain relief. We are quietly confident that under the loving care of our staff and volunteers he will recover well and will soon be ready for his forever home. Welcome home lovely Blaze ❤❤❤
Super STAR! A 10 year old amazing girl who doesn’t act her age. Loves to cuddle up to her kennel mat Jack and mooch about on Coopers field. Needs a forever home soon… winter is coming!
Marvellous Murphy is having a duvet day
Murphy is our 7 year old sweet heart! He does like his cuddly teddy and a bed
but won’t hassle you for attention. He is very good on a lead and likes other dogs!
Finally Murphy is very amenable and is partial to a sausage. If you want to see more

May 2018 our focus is:
?? FABULOUS FLINT ??
Flint is a very loving boy who wants nothing more than to stand by you and nuzzle into you once he gets to know you.
After some initial excitement he settles well into his lead walks, enjoys a play in the paddock and has always been good with his kennel mates. We have never had any concerns with him around Valley our resident small fluffy dog although we will always emphasise that great diligence needs to be taken around any small animal.
