This Saturday saw Greyhound Rescue Wales attend the Cardiff Christmas Market with a stall on the very popular Trinity Street. The Wales vs. Argentina game on the same day gave a big boost to the already significant crowds meaning lots of interest and, most importantly, lots of fuss for our four (and three) – legged helpers.

An annual fixture in the GRW calendar, the Cardiff Christmas Market is a fantastic place for us to get out and about amongst the shoppers to spread the word about the breed and the charity, but also to answer any questions from potential adopters thinking about giving a forever home to a greyhound or lurcher.

The event is also an excellent fundraising opportunity and we are extremely grateful for the generosity shown by everyone who donated to us. We are pleased to announce that we raised an amazing £850.74 for our hounds.

Special thanks go to Steve Tom and also to Jane Hall of www.craftfolk.com for arranging our attendance at the event.
